Do you have any extra bike parts in your garage or basement? Do you like building bikes? You might be able to help me with a new project that I dreamed up. I want to build a bike up with all the used parts that are collecting dust on workbenches around Ohio.

Here is a link with details about what I want to accomplish. I would love to have your help with this.

Also, I've never built up a bike so I am looking for suggestions. I created a drawing with a few details of what I am looking for and I'd love feedback.

If you have trouble finding a chain guide for your 1x system, just use a front derailleur and set the limit screws where you need it to keep the chain on the ring. Could also run any 2x or 3x crank and just remove the unneccessary chainrings. Will probably make it a lot easier to find a derailleur and 3x crank than a 1x crankset and a chain guide. Good luck on the project.
