View Full Version : New trail building tool

Ok. So I splurged on something other than a frame.

A McCleod, A Rhino, A shovel, a Saw, a Pulaski, and a Mattock that can fit in a backpack?

I went ahead and ordered the 3x16" version and I plan on using it tomorrow at Atchinson.

So far in my shop I am beyond impressed with the engagement between the sections of super light fiberglass.

I am meeting up with Richard (Dick K) at Atchinson tomorrow to actually put this tool to the test as we install a few pre-fabbed sections of "bridge" (pattoning?) and to do some generic maintenance. We are planning on flagging some re-routes and dragging some pre-fabricated ladder bridges to location.....

I will report back to how my tool held up, but I anticipate full cooperation with the elements....

Clarification. I will be there tomorrow with Mark but not planning on doing any major trail work myself due to some health issues but will be there to guide Mark along on his quest to improve Atchinson. Thanks Mark for your interest.
